Our Expo delivery experience

nuwa’s team has worked at the Governing Body level and delivered across World and Specialised Expos since 2005: nine Expo cycles of advising, planning and executing, in eight countries.

We have been present at every stage of the Expo lifecycle: shaping a nation’s bid, building the plan, delivering the event, and securing its legacy. Few teams carry that range of experience end to end.

Our relationships and knowledge span more than two decades: built inside the rooms where Expo decisions are made, and now brought to the event that will define the next.

nuwa combines international Expo expertise with deep local, cultural understanding, headquartered in Saudi Arabia: positioned to deliver the Kingdom’s Expo with the gravity it deserves.

Expo 2027 Belgrade opens on 15 May 2027 and runs for 93 days, with over 130 countries and international organisations committed and pavilion units handed to participants from December 2026. The decisions that fill those pavilions are being taken this year.

Expo 2030 Riyadh runs for six months, from October 2030 to March 2031, brings together 226 countries and organisations, and opens one of the largest procurement ecosystems the Kingdom has ever seen. Around 70% of the spend sits in the private sector.

There is no inherited playbook the way there is for the Olympics or the World Cup; that open field is the opening for organisations that read it early. Belgrade shows what a team can do inside twelve months. Riyadh is where the same work runs at scale.

“An Expo is a national promise with a fixed opening date. Everything else can move; that date cannot. The teams that deliver well are the ones who worked out, years out, what the clock was asking of them.”

Board Member & Senior Advisor
Expo is not won at tender. It is won in the years of positioning before it.
