Expo 2027 Belgrade
Ninety-three days on twenty-five hectares outside Belgrade; the last Specialised Expo before Riyadh opens its gates.

Belgrade runs for 93 days in the summer of 2027. More than 130 countries and organisations will build, operate and decommission on a single compact site, with around four million visits concentrated into one season.
Riyadh buys that same operations layer between 2028 and 2030: accreditation, ticketing, crowd flow, volunteer operations, facilities management. The firms that win those tenders will be asked what they have run before. Very few firms in the Kingdom hold an Expo operations credential today, and the window is short; the site at Belgrade closes in August 2027, and the tenders open after it.

The theme is Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.
Three thematic pavilions (Power of Play, Play for Progress, Play Together), a working Forum, and roughly 8,000 events across the season. As at Riyadh, the theme is the brief; Belgrade expects participants to build for participation, and will judge them on it.

Every mega-event industry moves knowledge the same way: it puts the people who will deliver the next event inside the one that is running. Organisers have done this for decades, event to event, host to host.
The contractors, suppliers and operators who actually build and run the thing have rarely been the audience, even though they are the ones who repeat. We are building this programme around them.
In June 2026, Expo 2030 Riyadh and Expo 2027 Belgrade signed a cooperation agreement covering structured knowledge transfer and observer programmes. The mandate exists. This is the private sector route into it.
