Privacy Policy

Last Update: 5 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how nuwa ventures (commercial registration no. 7054338251) (“nuwa”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you visit www.nuwa.sa.com (the “Site”) or otherwise engage with us. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Royal Decree No. M/19 dated 9/2/1443H) and its Implementing Regulations (the “PDPL”), as overseen by the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (“SDAIA”).

For the purposes of the PDPL, nuwa ventures is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Scope

This Policy applies to personal data we process about visitors to the Site, individuals who submit an enquiry or register for our Insights, and representatives of organisations we engage with. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which have their own privacy practices.

Personal data we collect

  • Information you provide — when you complete a contact or enquiry form, register for or access our Insights, or correspond with us: your name, job title, organisation, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
  • Account information — where you register to access gated Insights, your login credentials and account activity.
  • Technical and usage data — collected automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages and the dates and times of your visits, gathered via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through the Site. Please do not submit such data to us unless specifically requested and with a clear lawful basis.

How we collect personal data

  • Directly from you, when you contact us, submit a form or register for Insights.
  • Automatically, through cookies and analytics technologies when you use the Site.
  • From service providers acting on our behalf (for example, our forms, email and analytics providers).

Purposes and legal basis for processing

Under the PDPL we process your personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including: to respond to your enquiries and provide the services or information you request; to manage your Insights account and deliver gated content; to operate, secure and improve the Site; to send you communications you have requested or consented to; and to comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Our lawful bases include the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in operating our business where these are not overridden by your rights, and compliance with a legal obligation.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences and understand how the Site is used. You can manage your preferences through our cookie banner and your browser settings. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with: trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions (for example, website hosting, customer-relationship management, email marketing and analytics providers); professional advisers; and competent authorities, courts or regulators where required by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or to protect our rights. We require all processors to apply appropriate safeguards consistent with the PDPL.

Transfers outside the Kingdom

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where this occurs, we will transfer personal data only in accordance with the conditions for cross-border transfer set out in the PDPL and its Implementing Regulations, and we will take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Security

We implement appropriate organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, access, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights under the PDPL

Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to: be informed of the legal basis and purpose of collecting your personal data; access your personal data; request a copy of your personal data in a readable format; request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; and request the destruction of your personal data where it is no longer needed. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (SDAIA) if you believe your rights under the PDPL have been infringed.

Children

The Site is intended for business and professional users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified on the Site.
